Description:Oh, my poor Pam! She was adopted from us four years ago to the most wonderful family you would ever want to meet. They renamed her Molly. They loved her, she loved them, and life was good. Unfortunally due to a divorce and some medical issues with their children, this sweet dog is now looking for another home..below is what the owners had to say about her:
Foster Update 8/30/13: Molly has been in our home since early May. She is what we describe as the perfect Southern lady. She likes attention but waits patiently for it. She doesn't bark and is very understanding on the whole. She stays well in our kitchen when we are at work. She enjoys going for walks and seems to have more energy now that she's lost some weight. She has had no problems with dogs or children while she has been at our house. She would be the perfect pet for someone who lives alone and works, because she is fine while you are away and just likes being near you when you're home.
Sweet Ms. Molly is a good dog. She's not very playful, but enjoys being home. She enjoys short walks, riding in the car, receiving treats, and getting her belly and ears rubbed. She's crate trained and responds to her name and a few certain commands:
Does Molly want a TREAT?
Does Molly want some FOOD?
Does Molly want to go for a WALK?
Does Molly want to go for a RIDE?
Does Molly need to go OUTSIDE?
Molly, go to your cage. (meaning crate)
Molly, go to bed.
Molly, wait. (for standing and waiting)
When we first got her, she was extremely fearful of everything and everyone. Now, she's a more confident, curious pet. She has enjoyed camping at different state campgrounds with our family. The kids have enjoyed dressing her up, and like to toss things that she can catch in her mouth (like treats or dog food).
Molly has been living with three special needs children for the past four years. She is very good with children and would make a good family pet. Although she has spent many years with children she is getting older and would like children over the age of 5 years old.
