Patch's Camp Report Card from his camper, Ella

Patch is a loving, energetic and ready to learn dog.  He will get quite attached to you. He would love a yard to run and play.

     *** He is doing very well with sit, down, come and swimming. He is working on commands stay, back off, drop it and loose leash walking.
     *** He likes to be pet, go for a walk, lots of exercise, bath, calm dogs and learning new things.
     *** He does not like blow drying, crazy, barking dogs and staying still for a long time and doesn't like to be alone.

Patch is one lucky pup!  He is attending Camp Doglando beginning July 10 and graduating July 22! This is a fabulous camp where kids, train shelter dogs to get them ready for their new homes.

They will learn loose leash walking, sit, stay, down and many other things!  This the sixth year that dogs from PRBJ have gone to Camp Doglando and it is amazing how much they learn in a short period of time!

Yes, I can run 3 to 5 miles along side of you, and also, go swimming and hiking.

Hope you have the time, as I love to play "monkey in the middle" with balls that light up, play endlessly in the sprinklers, oh yeah, and love kids!

I'm still a puppy so I love to chew, Kong and Nylabone type toys, soup bones, I love 'em all! I'm smart, learn quickly and just need an active family to take me under their wing and love me as one of their own.

DOG 4 A DAY UPDATE:  Patch is the cutest pup! He is extremely sweet, affectionate, and loyal. With a bit of training and discipline, Patch will be the definition of the perfect family dog. On our day together he was excited and pulled on the leash a bit, but once he tuckered himself out he was so happy to just lay down next to me and cuddle. He was good with other dogs and good with women. He was a little shy and hesitant when meeting new men. He needs some potty training but is very eager to please and very receptive to commands so he should have that down in no time. Patch is a terrific pup and will make the perfect addition to some lucky family.

He is ready to leave shelter life behind and to start living in his forever home.
