DOG 4 A DAY UPDATE!! Sasha was lucky enough to be taken on a Dog 4 a Day outing and we got a wonderful update on it. Please also look at the pictures and check out Gunner's page too!
Hi All!
My husband Jared and I had the chance to do Dog for a Day this past Saturday, 8/8/15. We took out "Sasha" and "Gunner." What an absolutely wonderful day we had!
We were hoping to get 2 dogs so we could spread the love but we know how cautious we have to be with dogs who might not know each other well. As it turns out, we had nothing to worry about! Sasha and Gunner were incredible together and I think Gunner may have even fallen in love with Sasha a little over the course of the day! :)
We started by taking them out to Soldier's Creek walking/biking trails. The dogs loved the car ride, Gunner in particular was such a wonderful rider! You could tell he had been trained before because he had such great manners. Sasha sat on my lap the whole time because she is such a lover she couldn't sit alone! When we got there, we ran with the dogs, walked with the dogs, met other dogs, and met other people! They seemed to have the time of their lives! They had so much excitement and energy throughout the whole day!
When we were done at the trails, we took the pups to Jeremiah's for some ice cream! Again, they were so well mannered and wonderful together!
Gunner is truly a gem. He is so well mannered and gentle. He LOVES to give kisses and looks to his "walker" for permission on everything. He knew many commands and seems to have been socialized quite a bit. He seems quiet but when prompted, has a real puppy playful side! He wagged his tail all day long and just needs a family to share all his love with!
Sasha, I truly cannot say enough about this angel. If I had any extra dog room at home I would take her in an instant (unfortunately I don't). She is one of the kindest, sweetest, most loving dogs I've ever seen. She would have spent the whole day licking us if she could have! She has a great amount of energy and I could totally see her being a great partner for running or biking. She uses her energy to chase lizards and show everyone in sight how much she loves life! She was incredibly friendly and wiggly to every person and creature she saw. I have a feeling she likes to chase lizards just because she wants to be their friend! She is truly a perfect dog. She deserves the best, most loving home a dog could hope for. She will make a family so happy one day and whoever gets to love her forever will be the luckiest person!
We had such a great time with these babies and can't wait to hear about their wonderful homes that they will hopefully get soon...they deserve it!
Attached are some pictures from our day! See you soon!

Sasha was found as a stray and was surrendered to PRBJ. Sasha is heartworm positive, but that should not deter anyone from wanting to give her a furever home. We use the slow kill method and literature will be provided regarding this method and you will get 6 months of heartguard. If you have any concerns we will have our vet tech speak to you.
The Terrier is a good-natured, amusing, extremely loyal and affectionate family pet, which is good with children and adults. Almost always obedient, it is always eager to please its master. It is an extremely courageous and intelligent guard dog that is very full of vitality. They are highly protective of their owners and the owner's property. It is usually very friendly, but has an uncanny ability to know when it needs to protect and when everything is okay. Excellent with children in the family, they have a high pain tolerance and will happily put up with rough child play. As with any breed, they should not be left alone with unfamiliar children. Used as all around working farm dogs, they were referred to as "the poor mans horse". They are strong and generally weigh between 40 and 70 lbs. They have a life expectancy of about 12 - 14 years.
