Description:

Jenny was rescued from a life on her chain about 2 years ago. She came in with her 3 puppies, who have all found their forever homes.  Jenny is very sweet and friendly with everyone she meets, especially children. She loves attention and will give kisses to anyone who will let  her.  She would  be best as an only dog with a strong, caring owner because she does not get along with many other dogs.  She loves to run in the yard and play fetch. She also likes to play with water. In our backyard, she plays in the kiddie pool. She also loves to chase the hose water. She is a WONDERFUL dog who has been patiently waiting her forever home for 2 years. She knows basic commands and listens very well. She is definitley a staff favorite at the shelter!  She is available for Dog 4 A Day and fostering with an approved application.  Any questions regarding Jenny, please call the shelter and one of our experienced kennel workers would be happy to speak with you. Jenny is also good with cats.

Dog 4 a Day Update : A friend and I had the immense pleasure of taking Jenny out for the day. She was an incredibly sweet and loving dog and we would jump at the chance of adopting her if I had the means to do so. It seems like she enjoyed every part of the day; she loved exploring and running around the backyard playing fetch, she loved taking in the sun by the pool, and she loved snuggling up when she was all worn out from her fun day. I encourage anyone thinking of adopting to take Jenny out for the day, I assure you, you will fall in love with her as much as we did. 

DOG FOR A DAY UPDATE 2/9/2017 : I can't put into words how much we love Jenny.  She just wants to snuggle and love on you. She loves rolling around and doing "yoga" on the grass. She also loved playing in the hose. She never stops smiling when we're together. She was very accepting of our cats. Sadly our cats were not as cordial. I wish we could keep her forever. She barely ever barks unless she gets excited to see you. She wiggles and smiles 24/7. She is an Angel and an absolute delight. Someone is going to be very blessed to have her join their family. We love her so very much. We will always take her out for the day every chance we get until the right family comes along. ❤❤
