Description:
If you want a sweet girl that becomes your best buddy quickly you'd probably love Gracie. She's almost always got me in her sight. She is happy, happy, happy! She's usually smiling and wagging her tail. Sometimes she walks up and lays her chin on my lap or arm.

Gracie has obviously been taught basic obedience commands and those are reinforced in my foster home.

She goes on 2 mile walks all while being great on a leash. She is good with both cats and dogs. Though Gracie is considered a senior, don't let her gray face fool you; she's got plenty of playful adult dog energy.

As shown in her photos, she will plop down on the floor while on her back and roll around with enjoyment. After she's finished playing she'll relax beside you or on a dog bed. Gracie enjoys biscuits and chewing durable dog toys.

She's been a mama multiple times in her life. Gracie was surrendered to a local county animal services because the owners were moving.

The Terrier is a good-natured, amusing, extremely loyal and affectionate family pet, which is good with children and adults. Almost always obedient, it is always eager to please its master. It is an extremely courageous and intelligent guard dog that is very full of vitality. They are highly protective of their owners and the owner's property. It is usually very friendly, but has an uncanny ability to know when it needs to protect and when everything is okay. Excellent with children in the family, they have a high pain tolerance and will happily put up with rough child play. As with any breed, they should not be left alone with unfamiliar children. Used as all around working farm dogs, they were referred to as "the poor mans horse". They are strong and generally weigh between 40 and 70 lbs.
