Smokey Blue is a lovely gray cat with tidy white paws. She was totally mystified as to how she ended up at a kill shelter at the age of 8 years. We are mystified by this too. She is so sweet, so loving, so gentle, how does that happen? It is actually worse that that. This dear little thing was found beaten up and abused by someone who then took her to the pound. We are grateful that rather than euthanize her right away, they instead nursed her back to health. A kind woman then pulled her out of the shelter and asked us to help find her a home. We will happily do so. Smokey Blue is deserving of a second chance at a safe, loving home, and that's what we will find for her! Although she is only 8 years old, we have chosen to qualify her for our Seniors for Seniors program, whereby senior citizens may adopt her for a discounted donation of just $50.
