Papi is turning into a wonderful dog. He was rescued off a screened-in backporch in Apopka after the tenants moved out & left him behind. He apparently spent all of his life on that porch, the neighbors said, (there was a privacy fence) so they never saw him & he rarely interacted with his humans. He was fed & watered infrequently too, hence 20 pounds underweight. He has gained weight and is perfectly proportioned. He is working hard on his house manners and is now house trained.

He loves to climb on his foster mom's lap and snuggle. We just know that Papillon will turn into a beautiful butterfly for a wonderful, patient family. His foster family has foster puppies too and Papi is great with the puppies, playful, but never hurting them.

P.S. He has a heart shaped tan spot on his left side. :-}
