A nice woman was at the dog park when a car pulled up, and a small-ish rottie was thrown out of it. The woman didn't know if she should chase after the car or the dog, and she settled on the dog. From the park, she saw a sign for Pet Rescue by Judy and brought the dog straight there. Unfortunately, the sign was for our under-construction facility--but the site manager called Judy immediately. Within five minutes, Judy was in the van and on her way to meet the dog we named S. Rink, but we're just calling her "Rink."

Rink is definitely a rottie, but she's very small, so we're thinking she's blended with something else, although we can't agree on what. She's adjusted very well to her new surroundings. She's been good with all of the volunteers, and doesn't bark at the other dogs. Do you have the room in your heart and home for Rink?

This breed needs a lot of companionship and socialization to be truly happy. They can be aggressive with other dogs and should be kept on leashes in public places. Friends and relatives of the family are normally enthusiastically welcomed. Strangers can get no further than the sidewalk. They have a life expectancy of 10-12 years.
