Danika and her kittens were abandoned at a local vet's office. All of her babies have found homes, but Danika is still waiting. She is super friendly, and loves to be pet. She doesn't mind being picked up or handled, but when she's done, she's done. She is good with other cats, and she LOVES dogs! She lives in the rescue office, and most of the day she's curled up for a snooze, under the desk in her special kitty bed. But whenever anyone comes in, she will jump right up to say hello, with a meow and a headbutt against you. She really likes it in the office...but she would much rather live in your home!

They began appearing in English cat shows almost immediately, and in American shows by the early twentieth century.
