Description: This little lady was an unexpected surprise for one of our weekend adoption event volunteers. When arriving to the location to set up for an event, our volunteer made the effort to move this card board box that was left right outside our cat adoption center location. Curious because it seemed so very light for being such a big box, she opened it up! Low and behold staring right up and back at her was this cute little fur ball. Our volunteers daughter named her Ellie and Ellie is one very lucky little girl that our volunteer and her daughter arrived for the event when they did AND the fact that they looked into the box when they did!
Being a weekend event, our volunteers kept this little lady with them for an overnight and shared with us the following ~ Ellie had the time of her life with my kids. She is the sweetest little cuddler who loves to play. She is so sweet with the way she snuggles up in laps and purrs constantly while cuddling and playing. If we didn't have so many animals, her home would have been with us.
Thank you again to our volunteers for being there and handling the event that day AND most importantly being willing to take this little lady under their wing till transition was possible.
Again, I cannot stress enough how much our the volunteer network within our community helps out these animals in need!! If interest and/or willing, please complete a volunteer or foster application. Having the assistance of people within the community helps us help them :-)
5/27 Volunteer Update: "The kittens are precocious and awesome. I don't know the name of the little tiny tabby dynamo in with Shiloh and Zahara, but Stephanie and I took to calling her Mariah Whitney Christina Britney since she was absolutely insistent on being the center of attention at all times! If you had your back to her, she'd meow until you turned around. Then she'd climb the cage and hang there until you took her out and cuddled her. I love kittens!!" Yup, that's our Ellie!!!
