Description:
This little lady was rescued by a concerned resident after she was observed outside her home with an abscessed tail injury. After first having the feline tested for any communicable diseases, the injury was attended to, and PRBJ has now been asked to assist in finding this lady a forever home; one that will allow her indoor living, love and attention. The tail injury has healed quite nicely and presently we continue to work on healing her soul.

FOSTER UPDATE: As Ms. Ginger continues to expand her personality, so many wild and wonderful things about her make me smile. However, at the same time, I am saddened to say that now that Ms. Ginger has allowed one-on-one time, being petted and even brushed, it has been discovered that the original injury from which Ginger came to us was caused by being shot with a BB gun pellet. An animal injury caused by the inappropriate actions of a human being!!

Obviously, and without a doubt, the abcess on her tail area from the time she was taken in was in fact from the entry of the pellet which still remains within her to this day. And, based on discussions with several physicians, it has been determined that it would be best not to remove the pellet at any given time due to its location and its not causing any type of medical compromises for Ginger.

I am deeply saddened when I come across one of God's creatures that has been directly harmed by a human being. Life is difficult enough without further detriment being caused for one by another!

This little lady so very much deserves better and we are hopeful that you may be the one to find it in your heart to provide her with a home of happiness and only positive memories from here on out...
