UPDATE: 6/23/2017  This senior beauty was surrendered back to Pet Rescue by Judy again. She does not like to be alone and will need someone to be home with her. This is a message from her previous owner:
" Our Bella has really slimmed down. I think you'll be impressed at how well she is doing health wise.

I'm traveling a ton more every week and just found out that's going to intensify.

Here's the problem, she is apparently crying when I'm gone. And it's not lessening, its increasing. No one here would ever harm her, I truly think she's a complete lap dog, used to 24/7 with her person.

This is a dog who is very used to being babied, like sleep curled up to your stomach, she can't get enough time in your arms cuddles. She doesn't know a stranger and seems to really like gray haired folks. Loves to walk, (prance) and is good with kids and animals but truly is one person focused.

She's in great health and I'd like to find her an even better placement, because she's needing that constant stay at home person and I just can't be that, she's too old to try to make her adjust and I don't want her stressed.

She precious, has a ton of love to give and deserves a stay at home Mom.

And there's no essential oil, toy, music, tv, crate, bed, Chewie that soothes her. She just wants her person, and I know she loves us, but all of us work, so it's not that I'm her only person, she just wants a person with her.

Please let's find her that?"

04/04/17:  This senior beauty was surrendered back to Pet Rescue by Judy, her owner, due to medical reasons is not able to care for her any longer.   She is a very sweet dog who is housetrained, get's along with other dogs.

Bella was surrendered along with another dog because her owner was pregnant and knew she was going to be unable to care for her. This senior girl was so well taken care of...she looks like a young buck!

Foster update: Bella is a great dog. She loves all dogs of any age and size. She is a total cuddler and loves to be held and sleep with you on the sofa or bed. She is a pretty submissive dog and just seems to enjoy life. She isn't 100% housebroken, but if you keep her on a schedule and take her out freqently her accidents are minimal (maybe once a week). She is a real kisser and enjoys being a velco dog. Her ideal home would be with someone whom is home refreqently or has another dog Bella could play with. She has mastered my doggy door but likes to go outside with someone. She is very good with cats.
