Foster Update - 10/6/2013 - Ginger is such a sweet loving cat. She is a well mannered little girl. She loves to cuddle as much as she loves to play. She is new in my family as a foster and i am totally amazed how well she adjusted. She is not afraid of other cats, young children or dogs.  She would make a great addition to any home.

Foster Update - 3/21/13 -  Ginger is a sweet, gentle, and playful calico who goes by the nickname  ” Snowie”.   She’ll jump several feet to catch her favorite feather toy and she loves to play with her foster buddy Picasso.  She loves her foster mom & her purr fills up the room when she is carried like a baby/cuddles with her.  She’s smart, trained on a scratching post, and a good traveler who never fusses in her carrier.  Initially, she was fearful of our young children but has improved greatly over the past 6 weeks.  She has become attached to our older child (more quiet-sleeps w/ him/lets him carry her) but still skittish about the elementary-aged kids.  She is very gentle with children but would probably do best in a quieter home with adults or older children (aka >12 yrs ) as she  is sensitive to loud noises/ rambunctious play of the little ones.  She may need a little time to warm up to you but her purr will warm your heart & she will make a great companion for the right family.  She is great at making friends with other kittens/cats and would do well in a home with another cat or if she is adopted as a companion kitty. 

Intake - I was found outside a staff member's house. Now I'm looking for a forever home. I am very sweet and laid back for a kitten.
I live with alot of other cats and kittens and love all of them. I must be adopted into a home with other animals. I am also good with dogs. I will sleep on the bed with you all night and give you cuddles!

I'm not good with small kids.
