Foster Update - 1/25/13 - Mufasa is a very sweet, loving kitten that loves taking advantage of your lap. He loves playing with the other kittens and seems to have taken all the smaller ones under his wing. He follows my Alpha male around like it's his dad (it's not) and gets along well with my dogs. He's very playful and fun to watch and loves to have his soft cat food. As I'm writing this, he has just hopped onto my lap! When my 10 year old daughter was sick, he slept on her or by her the entire time, so he loves kids too! When Mufasa is stressed he will sometimes growl which doesn't help him at adoption events. People misunderstand and think he's mean or doesn't do well with other cats which is completely untrue. When bringing new fosters into my home, he is very curious and welcoming. He just doesn't like being locked up like many of our wonderful cats and kittens. He would do well in any type of household whether busy or quiet, he just wants to be loved.  Won't you give Mufasa a try?  

Hi. I am Mufasa, the Lion King. ROAR! (I'm still working on that part.) I crawled inside a car engine one night, and it was nice and warm, but I couldn't get out. Someone managed to find me, and he brought me to his vet, the Animal Hospital at Vista Lakes. I am now safe and sound in a great foster home and waiting for my furever home with you! Here is what my foster mommy has to say: "Mufasa is a total love. His favorite toy is your hands and he will play for hours with you."
