Elvis will be 5 years old in July.  He is a black and white male, declawed and neutered.  His owner adopted him from a shelter when he was only 8 weeks old. Here is what she had to say about Elvis:

He has the Hemingway toes on both front paws, and it looks like he has mittens on.  He is a quiet cat who minds his own business.  He loves to play with a little red fish, which he will fetch if you throw it for him.  He sleeps under the bed most of the time but will jump up and meow in the morning when the alarm goes off because he knows it is breakfast time.  He loves to go out on to the screened porch and watch birds and lizards.  Elvis likes to cuddle in the evening when I sit on the sofa and he will lie across my legs and wants his head, chin and ears rubbed.  If you stop he will nudge your hand to keep going.  He is a good watch cat and always lets me know when someone is at the door.  He is very friendly and loves to be held like a baby on his back.
