Foster update 5-3-13: Sandy has calmed down quite a bit from her crazy kitten days and is a quiet and sweet girl. She loves other cats and needs to be adopted into a home where she will have cat companionship. She will occasionally come and sit on the couch with me in the evenings and I know that I will find her on the bed every morning where she has slept the entire night. She loves to be scratched up and down her spine and will fall over on her side to let you do it. But when she has had enough she will flip over and grab your hand to let you she is done. I love this little girl.
5-30-12: Sandy and her sisters were left in a box on the doorstep of one of our staff members. I have had the pleasure of fostering them since then and they are the sweetest little kittens. If I could adopt all three of them I would.
Sandy is a beautiful torbie (tabby pattern mixed with calico coloring) with a gorgeous sandy brown coat and white feet. She is so sweet and enjoys being where you are. She usually wants to sit in my lap when there is another kitten already there so they can snuggle. She'll tolerate kisses and enjoys being brushed. She's not completely independent, but there are some times when she wants her space. She occassionally sleeps in the bed with me and I will usually find her off to the side or against my back in the morning.
Sandy really enjoys playing and snuggling with her sisters and her foster brothers and sisters. She is a highly active kitten and loves to wrestle and play chase. But once the action is over (and she's not in my lap) she can be found curled up with the other kittens.
