Description:
Geordi is a to-die-for calico Maine Coon mix. She is rather cautious around strangers and pleasantly indifferent to kids, dogs and cats! Her front paws are declawed. According to her owner,
"Geordi is very mellow. She was my husband's cat before we got married and he says she was very affectionate and a lap kitty. Once other cats were thrown into the mix she became very bashful and likes to stay hidden. She loves to chatter. She was the runt of the litter and always found herself on the losing side of play time. I think Geordi would do well in a senior adult home as an only cat."

I agree. A home that she doesn't have to share with another pet would probably suit her just fine. No doubt she'll be curled up in your lap in no time at all.

Every now and then I get an update from one of our volunteers who cares for the cats. I'll share some of those with you:
4/22 Update: "I was FINALLY able to meet precious Geordi last night. I've been dying to meet her and was so surprised to see her at Colonial PetSmart. At first I wasn't sure which cat was in the cage, because the bed was on top of her. When I opened the cage and picked the bed up from on top of her she turned around and meowed at me as if to say "Oh, hello there!"

She's a sweetie and such a little mushy girl! She has the CUTEST meow and loves to talk. I wanted to hide her in my purse and take her home with me. She has the most beautiful green eyes that I have ever seen on a cat. "

04/29 "I think we need to start a Geordi fan club! I love love love this little talker!! I sat with her for 1/2 hour last night brushing and petting her as meowed and meowed! She's tooooooo cute! She didn't realize that Lantz was lying behind her the entire time, then when she turned around and saw him all hell broke loose. It was SOO funny especially since she has no claws so she couldn't do much! "

Geordi qualifies for our Seniors For Seniors program ~ her adoption donation is only $50 for senior citizens, $100 for all the rest of us youngin's!
