Description:

Foster update 1/7/13: I am a very sweet and laid back girl, but I do have an independent streak.  I don't like to be crowded when eating, so I will wait until the other cats have finished eating and have left and then I will eat.  I am very quiet and I do like a snuggle, but as with cats, it has to be on my terms. I do like to sleep with you but usually at the foot of the bed.  I am still a fearless explorer and am always the first one to check out the new things.  I love other cats and am fine with the dogs, even chasing them occasionally.  I would make a wonderful addition to your family.

10/16/12: I am a sleek black femme fatale who loves to explore.  I am very friendly and loving and can be found loving and licking the new baby foster kitties.  I love to sleep at the foot of your bed.  I also like my alone time and am not a follower.  I play when I want to and not when the others think it is time.  I love other cats and dogs.  I would fit well in a home :as an only cat or in one with other cats and dogs.  I am very easy going and would make someone a great friend.

 

8/21/12: I still love to go exploring. Now that I am getting chaperoned trips into the back yard, I am finding all kinds of new and exciting to things to check out. I especially like laying in the soft grass and sunning myself. I am going to be a small girl compared to my two big brothers but I do think I get them in the looks department as I have a beautiful and glossy black coat. And you can forget all those black cat superstitions, there is not a bit of bad luck in me. I enjoy snuggling and playing with my foster kitten and cat friends and love to snuggle with the dogs. I am not demanding of my foster's time and attention, but when I am ready to be pet and loved on, I will let you know. I am not afraid to hang out by myself and am quite capable of keeping myself entertained for hours with conventional cat toys and with the not so conventional toys. I hope you will consider me to become a part of your home.

6/27/12: Tess is still an explorer and is very happy sleeping alone or with her family.  She would do great as an only cat or with other cats and dogs.  She loves fuzzy mice, but is just as happy with a hair clip, hair ties, twist ties or any thing she finds on the floor.  She is a very well behaved young lady.

5/17/12: Tess and her siblings were found when they were three weeks old. They were bottle fed, so are very attached to people and love to snuggle and be handled. Though the smallest of the litter she is a fearless adventurer. She can entertain herself or play chase and wrestle with her brothers and sister.  When it is time to nap she will snuggle with who or what ever is available.
