Description:
Foster update 7/25/13: I think she thinks that she owns the second floor of my house- shes still getting used to being here. Otherwise she is doing great! She's playful, affectionate and sweet as can be.

Foster update 6/25/12: Mercedes and her siblings were born to one of our foster cats, Shimmer, on 3/15/12. They have been handled and loved on since birth, which in turn makes them very loving and social kittens.

Mercedes may be small for her age, but her energy and playfulness will rival any kitten twice her size. She can wrestle with her siblings and she can hold her own with her foster brother who is about five times her size. Mercedes loves to be held and will lie in your lap for hours. She is very cuddly and will definitely fall asleep in your lap. She also enjoys sleeping in the bed at night in the crook of your arm or against your neck.

Mercedes can and will play with anything. She does not discriminate when it comes to toys. If it's on the floor, it's a toy. She loves the nylon cubes, pom poms and fuzzy mice.

Mercedes is a beautiful little black kitten with a white spot on her chest. Her fur is as smooth as silk.
