Foster Update - 9/5/12 - Darcy is a really sweet, pretty cat. She is gets along well with our cat and our small foster dog. She likes to sleep at the foot of our bed at night and may follow you into a room because she likes to be where the rest of the family is! Darcy is an indoor cat and has never tried to "escape" when we open the door. She enjoys passing time by playing with her cat toys and sitting in front of the TV with the family!

Foster update 6/22/12: Darcy is a beautiful, mellow cat with lots of personality . She is a joy to have around and we just love her!
Yes, she does like to play fetch with hair ties. Flick them across the room and she runs after it. Sometimes she will bring it back to you, sometimes she doesn't!

She gets along well with our cat and foster dog. She also will not let other cats bully her though. She and another foster cat we used to have would have some "moments". Darcy likes to explore the house and find little hiding places. She also likes sitting next to us on the couch and sleeping at the foot of our bed.
Darcy will be the perfect cat for a loving family.

Darcy was surrendered due to a family member's allergies.  Here is what her owner had to say:

Darcy is an extremely cuddly kitty.  When she wants to be loved, she will sit right in your lap and nudge you. She sleeps with me, has lots of energy, and has a big personality.  She even plays fetch with hair ties, and I didn't even teach it to her-she learned it on her own.  I love her to death and am sad I have to find a new home for her.
