Foster Update 8/28/12: Lexy is a very sweet, affectionate and yet elusive little girl. Every morning right after we all wake up and every night before we all go to sleep is Lexy-love time. That is when she is most affectionate and seeks me out with her purrs to give me lots of hugs and kisses. Of course, she gets plenty of hugs and kisses in return, too. Lexy now likes being picked up, but not for very long because she is a very busy kitty; what with playing with her brothers and toys, especially her favorite toy mouse, which she carries throughout the house. She also enjoys catching a few rays of sun from her favorite spot in the cat tree, on the patio or by stretching out in the window sill. Lexy has really come a long way from that scared little kitten nine months ago to the affectionate loveable, girl she is today.
 

Foster Update - 3/9/12: Lexy is a very affectionate kitten.  She follows me around everywhere, wrapping herself around my legs as I walk. She is a little head-butter and purr-box. For those not familiar with the meaning of head-butting, cats do this to show affection, love, and their desire to be pet by mom and dad.  Lexy is a very playful kitten and a great huntress. She loves carrying her prey (a toy mouse) around the house and hiding it. She especially likes hiding in the curtains and jumping out to surprise her brothers, Bailey and Sasha, and catnaps on the bed. She is especially close to her brother Sasha.  Little Lexy-pexy does not like to be held at all, but that does not mean she is not affectionate and will not shower you with her love and loyalty every minute of the day.

Hi, I am Lexy, and I am a princess. I enjoy snuggling on a nice soft bed or in my jungle gym, and playing with all my toys. I am not quite comfortable when people first approach, but I do love being petted. I will even let you pick me up and hold me! I am a shy little thing, yet I am also very curious. I really like playing with my brothers too, so maybe you could adopt me with Finn, Bailey, and/or Sasha. I am definitely and indoor kitty; however, I love sitting in the window or in the screened patio, catching a breeze and listening to the birds, crickets, and frogs. I have my first set of shots. I really want so much to have my own home and family!
