Foster update 12/15/11: This little girl came into our animal-filled home scared and hissing at all the cats and dogs, but that didn't stop her from exploring our home! As she came across each animal, she would arch up her back, puff up and hiss! On someone so little, it was really cute! She has gradually calmed down and has come to the realization that none of my animals want to gobble her up. She is still leery of our 30-pound dogs, but she doesn't run and only hisses if they get too close. It has been less than a week, so I expect she will become more comfortable in no time and will do well in a home with other animals. This little one has stolen my heart. She enjoys crawling up onto my lap whenever I am on the computer and becomes a purring machine. She is very affectionate and will definitely be a great lap cat.
