About Romeo the Loving Kitten | |

Foster Update: When Romeo first came to us he was terrified. Romeo and his brother Hamlet (adopted) and his sister Juliet (available for adoption) were not accustomed to human contact. Although they would hiss and hide in the bathroom, when we would actually pick them up they would purr and enjoy being pet for quite a while. Romeo is still very frightened but does enjoy a good belly rub very much. If we pet his back or sides, he will often roll a little so that his belly is exposed and it gets a good scratching. However, he is very afraid of us at times. Romeo is a very cute and playful cat. He is a little bit of an alpha male and likes to be the king of his castle, sitting on the roof of his two story cat house, taking long cat naps. His favorite thing to do is chase Juliet around the house all day but he also behaves very well with our adult cats.
A rambunctious, handsome, short-haired orange tabby, Romeo is very energetic and is always the first to the bowl to be fed. He is very curious, but can also be reserved at times.
Romeo may be a little shy at first, but once you cradle him in your arms, he becomes quite affectionate -- even amorous. When left to his own devices, however, he loves to climb and play!
He is especially fond of his sister, Juliet, and would love to be adopted with her, but regardless of whether they go together, he is bound to be a lifelong companion to anyone who responds in kind.
Romeo is about 3 months old, has been neutered and vaccinated, and is free of parasites. His mother tested negative for FIV/FeLV, so Romeo is now ready to find a forever home!
