Description:

This poor little puppy was rescued in horrible conditions. She is such a wonderful cuddler of a puppy! She desevers the best forever home!

Foster Update: Winnie is filling out nicely. She is willing to eat anything at anytime. She keeps up with the big dogs. She is so precious.

Foster Update: In spite of her tragic start in life, Winnie is doing wonderfully.  She is extremely sweet, smart and loving.  She’s a cuddler.  Her first evening at our home found her going from toy to toy to toy until she just had no more energy left.  I laid down beside her on the floor, and she fell fast asleep.  When I got up, she opened her eyes … and I said something to her, which set that little tail of hers into action, but that’s all the energy she had left in her until she was able to nap for about 30 minutes.  She is extremely comfortable in her crate, and she slept the entire night through without a peep.  She is exceptionally smart … and with that comes curiosity.  She seems to have no fear.  I spent about 10 minutes teaching her to sit, and she’s already got it … of course that is all motivated with a treat in my hand.  She loves to chase our younger cat because she runs, but she merely stops and sniffs the older cat before walking away.  Although she’s still a bit on the tiny side, I think she would do amazingly well with a family who has children of any age.  She is also very comfortable around other dogs.  This is one precious little puppy!!!
