Foster Udpate:  Rosie and Bella were fortunate enough to be in a foster home for a while before their foster Dad had to go out of town for work.  Here's what he had to say about them:  "Rosie and Bella both were still cautious around strangers when i left them but no longer cowerd in fear. Both were active dogs, but would sleep all day even if didn't take them out (this never happened but both were very relaxed when exercise and play was done and even on rainy days with little exercise never became rambunctious) Both were curious about cats at first but quickly realized that my two cats were part of the pack and on more than several occasions, found all four sleeping on the cats' bed together. Lastly, both were great with dogs and never had a problem with my other four. They loved the dog park. the only problem was Rosie's lack of confidence which would lead some more aggressive dogs to dominate her."

Rosie and her sister, Bella, came to us from an Animal Control in Georgia.  They were so scared that they never got adopted in their time there.  When their time was up, we took them in hoping to bring their true personalities out to find them a forever home.

They have an excellent, reliable, temperament and are friendly, superb with children and equable with other dogs. They crave human attention and need to feel as though they are part of the family. Labs are easily trained. These dogs are watchdogs, not guard dogs, although some have been known to guard. They have a life expectancy of 10-12 years.
