Description:

Beauty and her seven puppies were rescued by us from a local high kill shelter.

Foster Update:  Beauty is a very beautiful dog.  She has a very shiny black coat with tuxedo markings on her chest. She has these large ears which stand up.  She appears to be a terrier mix. She was at the Orange County Pound and had 7 puppies. She was rescued by Pet Rescue by Judy.  She and her babies came to our home and we have been fostering them.  The puppies have been adopted into very good homes.  She is about 2 years old. She is a very good girl.  She was a wonderful mother to her puppies and has been mothering our current rescued puppies.  She is very playful and likes squeaky toys. She has 2 that she will keep on the couch all the time.  If they disappear, she will find them and return it to the same place on the couch. She loves to ride in the car and play with our other dogs. She sleeps at the foot of our bed.  She eats twice a day. I feed her 1 1/2 cups of dry dog food and add plain yogurt in the morning. She has been spayed and microchipped.

Foster Update:  Beauty loves to be with you all the time. She will set on your lap if you let her. She is a young dog and she loves to play. She minds very well. She is good with new people she meets. She is housebroken. Beauty is a great friend for adults and young people. We do not have young children so I cannot evaluate her actions with young children.  She is a great friend to us and our family.

Foster Update:  She  is a very nice girl. She loves to be outside in the yard chasing squirrels, playing with the dogs, fetching toys and observing what is going on in her environment. She loves to  be played with and will run in circles very fast. She gets excited easily and will jump up on you and playfully grab your arm. We have been working with her to curtail this behavior and she is improving. Beauty loves to ride in the car. She is completely housebroken and does well on a leash. She does sleep at the bottom of our bed. When left in house for long periods, she will sometimes chew up paper.
