Bianca the Librarian's companion, Binard the Librarian (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
Description: Bianca is a brown tabby with a marble patternBernard and Bianca spent their early days living outside of the library in Lake Mary. Feeling sorry for them, the librarians caught them, took them to the vet for fixing, and then asked us to find them forever homes. Well, how could we say no to that? Their foster, Erin, has worked hard with them, showering them with love and attention to prepare them for their loving families. When recently asked how they were doing, this was her reply: "Bianca has opened up a lot. She isn't the most friendly cat, like Bernard is, however, once she gets used to you she is very sweet. Bianca comes out with the dog out but doesn't play with her and runs away when she is chasing her. " Biance continued to make huge strides in socialization to the extent that we decided she was ready to strut her stuff at the East Colonial Petsmart. She was doing just great, adjusting well to the environment, until one Saturday a potential adopter picked her up in one hand, held her straight up in the air and freaked her out (you think!?!). She jumped down and cowered underneath the cage, refusing to come out. We thought, oh no, we've lost all that we had gained! But just a few days later I received this e-mail from one of the lovely ladies who helps care for the cats at East Colonial: " She seemed soo scared in her cage, but after I cleaned all the cages and had the cats out playing, I sat in her cage and she came over to me and we played for a bit.. then I sat outside the cage and she came into my lap and didn't get up for TWENTY MINUTES! SHe was snuggling into my lap and rubbing on me. I held her and she just smushed into my arms. As soon as another cat would come by, she would shy away, but stayed with me the whole time. SHe is ADORABLE and soo sweet and cuddly!" Bianca is also resiliant! What a sweetheart deserving of a home!
ADOPTION/DONATION FEE: All Pet Rescue By Judy animals are spayed/neutered prior to adoption, micro chipped and up-to-date on the vaccines applicable to their date of intake with PRBJ and respective to their weight and/or age at the time of adoption.
Pet Rescue By Judy is a non-profit, no-kill organization. The PRBJ donation fee collected may not be used to cover just the costs of this particular animal in which you are interested. As we have a variety of animals in our care with a wide range of medical needs, all donations collected are utilized towards all expenses within the rescue.
The goal of PRBJ is not just to place every animal into a home, but it is to place each animal into the RIGHT home, seeking that forever home, to avoid future transition and negative impact on the life of each of these deserving animals.
THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING OPENING YOUR HEART AND YOUR HOME TO A RESCUED PET
