Description: Although Leeland is currently fighting an upper respitory infection, his medication cycle will soon be complete. In the interim, applicants can still be processed for a meet/greet with Mr. Leeland for when his treatment cyle has been completed. Let me tell you, this little man is a fur ball applicants would wait in line to add to their family if given the opportunity to meet him!!
Alot of transitions have taken place for Mr. Leeland in his short time with our rescue. First rescued off the streets of Orlando, no longer having to scrounge for food from restaurant dumpsters, he was scared as it appeared to be the only life he knew up until then. He was rescued with his partners/pals Mickey and Shelby.
He was suffering heavily from a cold at the time of rescue. He was suffering heavily from never knowing the benefits of human contact and human love. However, let me tell you though, now that Leeland has been enlightened to a life of indoor living he found himself just absolutely adoring of it and adoring us as well.
Leeland is most appreciative to us two-legged creatures for the warmth, food, hugs and love he now receives on a daily basis. When first rescued Leeland was thin, full of fleas and visibly shaking/scared. However, all the nightmares and tragedies now seem to be behind him and he is now an absolute love that would love to be a member of your family.
ADOPTION/DONATION FEE: All Pet Rescue By Judy animals are spayed/neutered prior to adoption, micro chipped and up-to-date on the vaccines applicable to their date of intake with PRBJ and respective to their weight and/or age at the time of adoption.
Pet Rescue By Judy is a non-profit, no-kill organization. The PRBJ donation fee collected may not be used to cover just the costs of this particular animal in which you are interested. As we have a variety of animals in our care with a wide range of medical needs, all donations collected are utilized towards all expenses within the rescue.
The goal of PRBJ is not just to place every animal into a home, but it is to place each animal into the RIGHT home, seeking that forever home, to avoid future transition and negative impact on the life of each of these deserving animals.
THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING OPENING YOUR HEART AND YOUR HOME TO A RESCUED PET
