Description:
Watson came to us from a high kill shelter with his mama and his nine (yes 9!!!) siblings when their time was up.

Watson and his family were all named after famous golfers.  Watson was named after Tom Watson.

Foster Update 06/16/11: Watson is smart, and loves to be with his people.  He knows "sit" and is working on "stay" and "off".  He walks pretty well on a leash, and loves squeaky toys.  He does well with our other dogs, and he likes the cats but doesn't bother them.  He's a typical friendly lab mix puppy who loves to give kisses!  He's never shown any aggression or fear, so I don't anticipate any of those behaviors will develop later.  We're still working on house training, but he's made great progress.   Watson's coat is soft and short, so shedding is minimal.  I love the way his tail curls up; it looks like a letter "C".  I would estimate his current weight at 10 pounds.

Foster Update 06/22/11: Watson is such a sweet puppy; he just wants to lick you and be a lap dog.  He gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids.  My 10 year-old has been working with him on commands.  He knows "sit" and "stay" and next they will be working on "come" and "down".  He's getting much better at walking on a leash, and still working on house training.  Watson is crate trained, and can spend 6-7 hours a night in the crate without accidents.  He'd make a great dog for any family who has the time to play with and love him!
