Ziti may be 11 years old but she has plenty of energy and love of life left in her. Ziti is definitely a lap cat. She would probably love to be adopted by a family where there are a lot of laps to choose from - or just one lap would be fine too. She loves to be petted and to just be a where you are.
She was taken in from a vets who in turn took her from her previous family who no longer wanted a cat. She is sweet and affectionate and gets along with other cats. She doesn't go looking for trouble but can certainly look after herself. She is in the open cat room with a few "strong minded" and dominant male cats and she won't be bullied. Good for her! Of course, she would much rather be in her forever home in which to give her family so much love.
06.05.11 Foster Update: Today was Ziti's first morning in my foster home out in the common areas of the house. Ziti and my cat had some typical initial cat interactions but soon were fine with each other. Fortunately, I had company because my cat was on my lap and Ziti was on the lap of my company!
06.07.11 Foster Update: It has not taken Ziti long to settle into my household. In fact, she has taken up residency on my lap. My cat is not too happy about that! Ziti is a very placid kitty.
06.12.11 Foster Update: Ziti went to her first rescue event today. Amazingly the stress that would affect a lot of cats about being moved from one location to another did not impact her at all. When her kennel was opened so that someone could pet her, she would just stuck her chin out so they would scratch her chin or push her body against their hand so they would pet her.
