Description:
Girlfriend is a sweet little Calico kitten who deserves a break in life. She and her littermate were found behind a Steak and Shake restaurant (Judy always referred to the pair as Steak and Shake!). She was adopted but returned. We don't know why, but the experience was very traumatic for her. Even though she went back to the same loving foster home, she was so scared by people that she stayed with the cat and dog and hid the moment that a person walked in the room. What a blessing our fosters are! They were patient with this precious angel, giving her the love and security that she needed. Now she will sit next to them and welcomes their attention. They have also shared these other insights:
"Girlfriend is very shy, it takes awhile to warm up to someone. Loves dogs, she just loves to play with my dog, she actually made friends right away with my dog & cat. Likes to sit on the back of the sofa and watch TV with you. Loves to play with yarn, Girlfirend & my Missy had a good time with a skein of yarn. Girlfriend will make someone a great cat if given the chance."
