Bebe came to us because his owner could no longer afford caring for him. Although he is a pretty healthy dog, the English Bulldog tends to be a high price dog as it tends to have skin, eye and breathing problems. Anyone interested in adopting this dog should be financially able to care for this breed. His owners had this to say about him:

Bebe is very energetic, he loves to play alot and  likes having a companion dog to play with. He likes chew toys and he knows how to sit if you tell him to sit, but he usually only does it if you have a treat. Bebe isn't really house trained when we let him inside our house he runs around alot in the house sometimes bumping onto the walls. We keep him outside often because again he really isn't house trained but he loves to be petted. He loves kids but sometimes he may get too excited and probably scare the kids, but if you pet him, once he gets comfortable he will calm down. He is a really good dog.

The English Bulldog is good for apartment life. They are very inactive indoors and will do okay without a yard. This breed is an indoor dog. Bulldogs do best in temperate climates as the breed can chill easily in cold weather and have trouble cooling off in very hot weather. They have an average life span of 8 years. Some live longer while others live shorter lives.
