Description:
Foster Update 3/26:  Donnie settled in quickly to his temporary home - he was comfortable exploring our 2 story house by day two.  By Day five, you would think he owns the place!  He runs up and down the stairs, hops over our baby gates with ease, climbs in and out of the kitty condo and sleeps in my bed curled up next to me at night.  He has attempted to play with our resident cat Leo, but Leo is too scared and has hissed.  Donnie doesn't seem to mind that, and still keeps trying from time to time. (Good with cats!)  He probably misses his sister Marie, and doesn't seem scared of much.

Donnie LOVES people.  There are 2 adult males and 1 female in our house, and he has sought out love and affection from everyone - although he does keep clear of our 1yr old toddler.  Never hisses or growls or anything, he just kind of gets up and saunters away if she comes too close.  He let her pet him during the first couple of days but she wasn't gentle and bonked him in the head - so he has kept clear since then.  I think Donnie would be fine around children as long as they are gentle.

Donnie is definitely a companion cat - and a very quiet one. When I am laying on the couch, he will come up next to me and gently put a paw on my shoulder to let me know he would like some attention.  If I don't pet him for long enough, I will get another "paw request" until he's satiated.  Not much of a meower, but when he does, its a cute high pitched little squeak.  He is very playful and loves toys and running around chasing imaginary friends.  But, most of the time, he is lounging around, all sprawled out on his back with his feet up, near the closest human. If we leave the room, he follows us.

Donnie is just a super sweet little man, very loving, and would make a great pet.
Donnie and Marie were surrendered by their owner of nine years who could no longer care for them.  They are both very friendly and would love your attention.
