Update 8/3/2018:

Petey was returned to PRBJ because his mom passed away a while ago, and then his dad lost their home. He was so scared being at the shelter, but has adjusted a bit since he first came in. We feel he would be best as the only cat in the home, or with another calm, considerate cat. At 10 years old, it is very difficult for him to be living in a shelter, espescially with many other cats. We often find him laying in a bed on top of crates or on the windowsill as to be more secluded from the other cats.

Petey still has a velvety soft coat and enjoys being pet. He is a very calm and gentle cat. The spot on his nose is believed to be from a sunburn. Now, it is just a spot that makes him unique and beautiful. We know you will fall in love with him, just as we have!
