About Sweet Pea the Petite Sweetheart | |

Sweet Pea is a very loving cat - she also demands affection - she will stay by your side the whole time and under your feet, so you have to be careful! ;-) While I was trying to take pics of the kittens - they were under the bed - she even jumped on my back! Too cute. She would be a good home for someone who wanted a very loving companion that they could pet and cuddle with all the time.
Sweet Pea was left in a carrier at the Sanford Shelter. The next day she delivered 5 kittens. She is in a loving fostering home taking great care of her kittens.
Foster Update - 6/27/2010 - Sweet Pea and her kittens are doing very well. The kittens are feeding regularly - they have full bellies! A couple of their eyes are slowly peeking open, so they should all open in the next couple of days. Sweet Pea is very loving - I feed her often, and she eats it all up!
I had the kittens in a little box that was big enough for mama to feed them in and have extra room. I guess Sweet Pea thought the box wasn't big enough anymore, so she moved them to under my spare room bed. So I put the kittens in a much larger box (I didn't want them crawling away), and she is much happier now that she has a lot more room
