Description:
Emma and Izzy came to their current foster from a bad situation.  Their human mama was being abused, and had to relocate to a shelter for battered women. All of her other kittens and the mama cat got placed in homes, except Izzie and Emma.  They are the sweetest cats, but still a little shy around strangers.  They love their foster mom, and lie all over her all the time.  They love to be petted and they LOVE toys!  They love to climb and run, so you and your house would fare best if you invested in some cat trees/condos and scratching posts (they are learning to use the cardboard scratchers, which are cheap and useful).  These girls must go together, and would be great in a household with other cats.  They are used to their foster's many other cats, and they are friendly and cuddly with all of them (except the old girl, but she dislikes everyone but her owner).  They have not fought with any of the other cats and kittens in the house, and rarely, if ever, hiss at other cats.  These are good girls who need someone patient who will help them build trust.

Foster Update - 9/7/2010 -   IZZIE AND EMMA HAVE BOTH COME OUT OF THEIR SHELLS AT THEIR FOSTER MOM'S HOUSE.  THEY ARE PLAYFUL AND JOYFUL KITTENS.  THEY ARE NOT TOO SHY ANYMORE.  THEY PLAY WITH ALL THE CATS, AND ARE ESPECIALLY BONDED TO EACH OTHER.  THESE ARE CATS WHO WOULD DO WELL WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS NO CHILDREN, AND PROBABLY NO DOGS.  THEY ARE STILL AFRAID OF LOUD NOISES, BUT, HEY, SO AM I.  :)
