Sammy is a very sweet energenic young dog whom is in need of a forever home. Sammy had a very good start to his life but his owner could no longer keep him due to there own curmustances being changed. Sammy was adopted at 8 wks old from rescue as a "gift" for a young grandaughter. He has grown up with an 8 year old and loved his life, but once sammy's owners had to move away and could not take him the elderly grandmother was left caring for this young puppy. Sammy proved to be too much for her and she was desperatly searching for a new home for Sammy. We agreed to take sammy in and continue the search for his forever home.  He has grown up with a child and another older larger dog in the home. He is sweet and loving and will need contiuned puppy training!

Labs are easily trained. These dogs are watchdogs, not guard dogs, although some have been known to guard. They have a life expectancy of 10-12 years.
