Meet Silvia – A Sweet & Sensitive Cocker Spaniel

Silvia is a lovely Cocker Spaniel with a playful spirit and a gentle heart. She’s been a wonderful companion in her foster home and is now ready to find her perfect forever family.

 Silvia is potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go out. She enjoys going for walks, but she can be a bit nervous around loud noises and passing cars—when she feels scared, she may pull toward a safer place. A calm walking route and a confident handler will help her feel more at ease on her adventures.

 This sweet girl thrives when she’s with her humans and prefers not to be left alone for long periods. She may become vocal if she feels lonely, so she’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the day. Silvia isn’t a cuddler by nature, but she does love being close—she’s happy to sit by your side and soak up your presence.

 Silvia is great with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. She has lived with children, including newborns, but she can become overwhelmed by sudden movements or being grabbed unexpectedly. Because of this, we are looking for a home with adults or older, respectful children who can help her feel safe and secure.

Special Notes About Cocker Spaniel Care

 Cocker Spaniels are a beautiful breed with some special grooming and care needs to keep them healthy and happy. Silvia will require regular grooming, including:

• Brushing several times a week to prevent mats and tangles in her long, silky coat
• Professional grooming every 4–6 weeks to maintain her coat and cleanliness
• Routine ear cleaning – Cocker Spaniels are prone to ear infections due to their floppy ears, so regular cleaning is essential
• Eye care – Their expressive eyes can be prone to tearing and buildup, so gentle wiping as needed helps keep them clear
