 Meet Hansel & Gretel

A Sweet Husky/Shepherd Duo Ready to Find Their Happily Ever After

Hansel and Gretel are a stunning brother and sister pair who came to Pet Rescue By Judy from an overcrowded rescue in Georgia. These Husky/German Shepherd mixes have both beauty and brains — and they’re now looking for patient, loving families to help them grow into the amazing dogs they’re meant to be.

They are both gentle, sweet-natured, and good with people and other dogs. While they’re a little shy right now due to limited socialization early in life, they’re already learning to trust and open up with the help of our caring team. With a little TLC, routine, and positive experiences, Hansel and Gretel are sure to thrive.

 Breed Traits to Love:

  •  Husky Traits: Huskies are known for being friendly, outgoing, and intelligent. They love people and are usually good with other dogs. They tend to be playful and active — great companions for walks, hikes, or playtime in the yard.
  • Shepherd Traits: Shepherds are famous for being loyal, trainable, and protective. They bond closely with their people and are quick learners who enjoy having a “job” or purpose. With guidance and positive training, they can become incredibly devoted family dogs.

With these two breeds combined, Hansel and Gretel have the potential to be affectionate, smart, active, and loyal companions. Right now, they just need someone to believe in them and give them the chance to shine.

Important Information for New Puppy Parents

Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog,  dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential .

We  strongly recommend that the  entire family  participates in puppy training classes . This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the  same commands and techniques , creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.

**Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families!  Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success.
