Farrah was surrendered to PRBJ because her family was unable to care for her any longer. She is loving and affectionate hound mix with beautiful eyes to match her lovely blonde coat.

Farrah was not leash trained and is now learning that the leash means she's going on an adventure. She is looking for a home with a nice yard and a person or family that will give her lots of attention and spend time playing and socializing her. Farrah is a sweet soul that will need a patient and understanding owner to help her learn to be a dog.

Hounds are a great family dog! They are happy romping outside, smelling new smells and going on adventures....and then lounging on the couch with their humans. Hounds are a sensitive breed and respond best to a structured home and a calm voice.

New puppy parents must be dedicated to obedience, socialization and potty training to ensure the pup grows up to be a happy and well-adjusted dog. We recommend the ENTIRE family attend puppy training classes. This ensures that all family member are using the same commands and techniques.

Please note a fenced yard is preferred for this baby to romp and safely play.
