Description:

Sunkist was surrendered to PRBJ along with her 9 puppies. She was abandoned by her owner, and another family agreed to take care of her short term.... and quickly found out she was expecting puppies.

Sunkist does take a moment to warm up, but once she does you can quickly see what a sweet dog she is. She needs good introduction to other dogs to be comfortable and would benefit from a quiet home with individual or couple  who will be there most of the time because she just does not like being alone. Sunkist is great on a leash and enjoys long walks. A home with no young children would be best.

She would also benefit from a fenced backyard.   She is not a good candidate for a dog park or an apartment setting.
