Gianni & Noel
This is Noel’s first year of camp. She started out with Doglando as a volunteer for Doglando Foundation with Litter O before Camp Doglando. Now to see her grow and thrive on the camp’s side as well as Doglando Foundation.

Why did you choose Gianni, Noel?
“I chose him because he is super handsome and he walks alongside me and we match each other’s pace. He keeps licking me and is super friendly.”

Gianni is a sweet pup that just turned a year old.  He is playful and full of energy.  He will need an active owner or family and would not do well being left alone for long periods of time

He is crate trained and house broken.  He likes other dogs and cats.  Gianni loves to go for walks and is great on the leash.

A fenced backyard is needed for this pup to keep him safe.  A family with Australian Shepherd or herding dog experience is preferred.

New puppy parents must be dedicated to obedience, socialization and potty training to ensure the pup grows up to be a happy and well-adjusted dog. We recommend the ENTIRE family attend puppy training classes. This ensures that all family member are using the same commands and techniques.

About Australian Shepherds

Loyal - They are the most loyal dogs and are stage five “clingers.” As with so many dogs, they can be susceptible to separation anxiety. But they will love you fiercely and unconditionally.

Energetic – If you are active and spend time lots of time outdoors, hiking, running, etc. then Aussies may be for you.

Intelligence – Australian Shepherds are incredibly smart and eager to please their owners. They figure things out quickly. They are spunky and sometimes stubborn.

Working Dogs – Australian Shepherds were bred to herd and work. They enjoy a job. Working dogs are not for everyone. Some may need exercise for up to 2 hours a day as well as training and mental stimulation.

Friendly – Aussies are friendly and greet with a wiggle butt and smile. They love to give kisses.  They should be socialized around other dogs, kids, adults, noises, etc., that they may encounter throughout their life.
