Description:
My name is Deco (formerly Baltimore) and on Tuesday, June 26 I went to my forever
home. I have a new friend, Merlin the Dog, he's a really big boxer and he's kinda
old, but boy can he play (and he has all the latest toys). I've been a really good
girl and I've been doing what I'm told to do - well almost everything that I'm told
to do - the majority of stuff that I'm told to do. I know sit, stay, come, stop,
but I'm still working on 'no'. And I'm learning the proper technique for walking on
the leash.

Merlin is kinda of weird, he doesn't bark unless he hears bad noises or someone
comes to the door. I have to teach him to bark when he wants to go for a walk,
bark when he wants attention, bark when mommy comes home, oh yeah and when she
leaves.

I met my new cousin too. Her name is Missy and when I say new, I mean new - only
3 months old. We went to her house and she chased me all around. That child wore
me out. She also has a swimming pool - OH WHAT FUN!!! Merlin stayed in the
"kiddie" pool. My grandma and grandpa also came to see me. Typical grandparents
- lots of kisses, hugs and treats. Merlin's dad, Austin comes to see Merlin and I
all the time, almost everyday. He gets a kick out of me going to get my leash and
putting in front of him and then barking. He said it sounds like a hound howling
- duh. He gave me a bath with the hose. I didn't really appreciate that. He
needs to get me a "kiddie" pool for such events.

Well needless to say, I'm very pleased with my new family. Merlin is a lot of fun
(when he's not sleepin') and mom cooks my food everyday. I think I'm getting
spoiled. I'd like to thank Miss Judy for saving me. P.S. my mom said to thank Miss Judy too.
