Sadie and Dottie came to us together. We would love to see them adopted together but it is not necessary. They love people and cuddling and are pretty velcro. You will find them right at your heels when you are walking around and under your feet / chair when you are sitting down but they would prefer to be on your lap!
Sadie is very friendly. She may be a bit cautious at first meeting but after that is your buddy! Not only does her tail wag, but her entire body seems to wag! Sadie is mostly housetrained. We have had a couple of oopsies in the house but that is to be expected with new fosters.
Sadie sleeps in a crate and eats in a crate. She is currently eating wet food (Cesar pate') as that is the only thing we have found so far that she will eat but we have gradually been adding some dry kibble and she is now eating that as well. She loves to lie in the sun outside and loves to be with her person/people. If she is in your arms or lap, she will press herself against you as much as she can and is very loving. We would like her to have a fenced yard as she is not great on leash and is very quick at trying to get out the door.
Sadie and Dottie do fine with the other fosters in our house (ranging from 4# to 60#). They don't interact a lot with them as far as playing or sleeping together but keep to each other mostly. They listen well and are both good in the car. At times they are barkers, but it is not constant. After having them as fosters for awhile, Sadie has become more vocal, especially at sudden or loud noises, people entering a room and even when she is ready to get up in the morning (usually about dawn!).
According to the records we received with her, her prior owner said she had seizures. We have seen no indication of seizures while she has fostered with us.
