Description:
Diana, Edgar and Scooter came to us as three tiny terrified kittens. They arrived in a taped up cardboard box and needless to say, they were not happy campers. Thankfully, our local 'cat whisperer' has been working her magic on these three kittens and turning them into what kittens should be: happy, playful and content. These guys are on the calmer side - still a little frightened and their new families might have to be a little patient to earn their trust. But believe me, when you do, you will reap the rewards of the unconditional love of a grateful kitten.

Foster Update - 8/25/10

Scooter is a loving and playful companion. Once you earn his trust he will become your faithful sidekick. He will sit on your lap and curl up next to you on the bed. He's very curious and loves to bat things around with his paws. When he plays with people, he is very gentle and never scratches very hard. He has long gangly legs and sweet kitty eyes. Scooter is an adorable cat and will make a great pet.

Foster Update - 7/29/10

Scooter has blossomed into a playful and loving cat. He will follow you all over the house and loves to talk, especially if you are in the kitchen. When you bend over to kiss him, he happily pops his head up to meet you half way. At night he will curl up against you and fall asleep.

He loves other cats and dogs. He gets along with all of the other animals at his foster home. In fact, he's never hissed at any of the other pets-or people for that matter. He is active and loves to play-he even makes a game out of "stalking" animals on the television. He's very curious and uses his paws to gently poke at items that are lying around-especially highlighters and pens. It took him about two weeks to get used to his new surroundings, but once you earn his trust he becomes your little buddy and won't leave your side.  He truly is an awesome cat who deserves a loving forever home.

Foster Update - 7/12/2010 -  Scooter continues to adjust to the home environment and is doing very well. He discovered cat nip, crinkle balls, and how to sleep on the bed.

Foster Update - 6/20/2010

Scooter is a beautiful and curious cat. He is shy at first but after a few days of personal one on one time with him he will come out of his shell. He has been at his foster home for a week and is now running all over the house and enjoying the company of the other cats. Not only is he beautiful with stunning grey and white markings, he's also affectionate and very sweet.

Scooter loves to be around other cats. When he was first introduced to our cats, he went right over to them and started rubbing against them. He also gets along well with dogs. Its like he just wants to be loved by everyone.

All around he's a wonderful cat who would do well in a home that has other cats who like to play. Since he is still overcoming his shyness, a home with small children may be a little overwhelming to him.
