Description:
Bear is exactly as his name describes him - a big 'ole Bear, like "Teddy Bear."  He absolutely loves to cuddle and loves getting his belly rubbed.  His nighttime ritual is to climb up in his foster's lap while she is in bed, knead a little bit, then plop on his back waiting to get rubbed down and pass out.  If his foster let him, he would definitely sleep with her in bed all night long!  He's got lovely tiger markings with big yellow eyes.  He likes to follow his foster mom around the house and wants to be wherever she is.  He is littertrained, loves to eat, and is not noisy at all!  He does not jump up on counters and if you put him on one, he jumps down to the floor immediately.  He is great with other cats, and adores his current foster sibling, Storm.  He can be adopted separately from Storm, but if you are looking for a pair, they would love to be adopted together!   We think that he was once someone's pet and was turned loose and abandoned.  As a result of this, he  still does try to run out the front door (he is now an inside cat, so he is not allowed to do this unless it's out on an enclosed patio).  His foster adores him, but gets the impression that he feels her home is too "quiet" for him.  She thinks he would do wonderfully in any home and if you are looking for a cat for your children, she thinks he would be a perfect option and thinks Bear would find them a whole lot of fun!
