Description:

Ollie was surrendered to Pet Rescue by Judy after the landlord told his family that they could not keep him. They wanted to make sure their dog could find a good home, so they reached out to us for assistance.

Ollie is considered a Cockalier, which is a mix of a Cocker Spaniel and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This breed is considered friendly, gentle, and intelligent. Ollie is all of these things, including loving and playful. His previous home had children of various ages and he loved them all.  Enjoys running in fenced in yard with large and small dogs adult and pups,  Visits the cats and kitten in the house.

He is a puppy, so he will need training to help him become a good canine companion.  Cockaliers need on average of about an hour of exercise each day and must be carefully leashed on walks as their prey drive is high.

Ollie will need someone who will keep him groomed and looking his best. Cockaliers need daily brushing and regular montly visits to the groomer in order to maintain their beautiful coat. These guys also need a diligent owner to maintain clean ears as floppy eared breeds can be prone to ear infections.
