Vinny is a good boy who has been in his foster home for about a week.    He is a happy boy with a waggy tail and loves people.    He tends to get a bit excited at first and jump up but once he learns that you will pet him if he is sitting down, he learns quickly.     He is hesitant about going or staying outside at this time which I believe will improve as he trusts that he will not be left outside alone.    Before he arrived he had a cytopoint shot at the vet as he had skin irritation / possible allergies.    His skin is becoming less irritated and less itchy.    We also started him on Purina Proplan Sensitive Skin and Stomach food to see if that helps and he takes a salmon oil supplement twice daily.     He is a bit of a beggar but no table food here!    He eats in his crate and sleeps in his crate at night.    The door is open on his crate and he does lie in there on his own at times throughout the day.    He gets along with all of the other dogs in his foster home, ranging from 5 to 60 pounds.   He snores when he sleeps and makes grunty sounds that almost sound like he is talking to you.    Very cute!    He has had a couple of accidents in the house but I believe that is because of his reluctance to go outside.   If we see him getting "antsy" we take him out and haven't had any more accidents.
