Precious Girl is a little shy and needs a little while to warm up.   She has been in a foster home with other dogs and cats and has fun playing and no problems keeping up with the other animals. She has an eye condition that makes her eyes cloudy.  Our vet has examined her and is not concerned with it. Her vision is probably a little blurry in that eye but she gets around just fine.  

Chihuahuas are lively, loyal, intelligent, spunky, playful and friendly dogs.  They burrow under blankets, dance on their hind legs, wave their paws in the air, and lick everything in sight! Most Chihuahuas need little obedience training. Chihuahuas need to learn where to go to the bathroom, and where not to go – and this can be the biggest training challenge in this breed.

*PRBJ got a call from Hernando County asking for help in saving 29 small dogs who were living in a hoarding situation.  The owners were being evicted, and the dogs had nowhere to go.  Judy and the team didn’t hesitate to go help these poor babies, and the 29 Chihuahua mixes were rescued and brought back to PRBJ.
