Description:

On September 26th, a 95 year old woman found a litter of newborn kittens on the side of the road when she went outside to wait for an ambulance. She was able to put them in a box and move them to a safe place. As soon as she was admitted to the hospital she called our shelter and one of our staff rushed to the site and brought them back to the rescue.

We have been fostering them since then, at 2 days old. We affectionately call them the Cuddle Puddle. The shelter staff gave them Halloween themed names but since they looked so similar that tiny, we renamed them based on physical attributes so we could tell them apart. Their names are Boo AKA Cal, Spooks AKA Freckles, Shriek AKA Pip, and Cackle AKA Squeak. Pip (Shriek) was the smallest at 2.8 ounces.

They are extremely loving and playful. They all love snuggling with each other and/or their people, food, the cat tree, and toys. They wake up and instantly start running and chasing, ending in wrestling matches while they wait for their breakfast. They can be shy with new people at first, and definitely with new noises, but will warm up quickly once they know you're a safe person. They have not been around young children and were not crazy about our very cat friendly senior dog. Because of this we recommend a quieter home with no small children or dogs. We would love for him to be adopted with one of his brothers or have another kitten in the home for him to play with.

Pip (Shriek) was the smallest of the litter, weighing just 2.8 ounces, earning him the nickname Pip. From the beginning, he took eating seriously and worked hard at catching up with his brothers. Pip is one of the fearless explorers of the group. He was the first to master climbing on top of his play pen and continues to master any and all climbing opportunities. He is very curious and loves to investigate everything. Pip loves playing with and carrying poms poms and will also bring them to you to play with him.
